This year, the 4th Annual ~ Prêt-A-Pour-Tea ~ High Tea & High Fashion Fundraising Event for the Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation, BC/Yukon Region (CBCF) will be at Season’s in the Park Restaurant. Poised at the peak of Queen Elizabeth Park, this glass-wrapped restaurant offers stunning views of Vancouver’s city skyline, North Shore Mountains and Pacific Ocean.  This year’s event will feature a “Mad Hatter Tea Party” theme and see prizes awarded for the best hats!

On Tuesday, October 20th, 2009 230 fabulous women will join us for an afternoon of Champagne, High Tea, fabulous fashion and superb shopping in our “Pret-A-Pour-Tea Silent Auction” all for a great cause.  Our 2009 fundraising goal is a $20,000 donation to the CBCF from this glorious “Girl’s Afternoon Out”.  The money raised will be donated to the CBCF to help advance breast cancer detection, treatment and cure, creating a future without breast cancer.

This year’s event features fantastic & highly wearable fashion, modeled by Carrie Wheeler Entertainment Group Models, wearing clothing from Blush Occasions, Lela Designs, Obakki and Wear Else. Season’s makes the ideal setting for this day of Vancouver Fashion, in a tea-room style show, with Segura Viuda’s Brut Rose “bubbly” followed by fine tea, a selection of savory sandwiches, scrumptious scones and melt in your mouth desserts prepared specially for us by Season’s Chef James “Buddy” Wolfe.  MC’s and co-hosts for the afternoon are ever popular, CTV’s, Tamara Taggart, and Television Host and Actress, Nicole Oliver.

Feedback from our 2008 guests and sponsors was overwhelming with praise~from the beautiful setting at Season’s in the Park to the fabulous fashions provided by amazing women entrepreneurs, to the delightful & very special tea service provided by the Urban Tea Merchant to the laughs & fun with Hot Pink “Roa’s Boas” feather boas grand prize draws!

Early Bird Tickets are $99+gst until Sept 18th.  Regular ticket price is $125+ gst after that date.  Tables are selling fast.
