Wednesdays at Main St. Station Farmer’s Market

It’s Summer time and living just got a little easier with the return of the Main Street Farmer’s Market and Market Wednesday’s with Campagnolo Restaurant. Just steps from Campagnolo, the Main St. Station Farmer’s Market sets up at Thornton Park from 3pm – 7pm, every Wednesday, until October 5, 2011. Campagnolo is represented at the market with their own table, where shoppers can purchase fresh, house-made pastas.

Campagnolo Tagliatelle: long, thin noodle pasta

Campagnolo Freestyle: ever-changing shapes.

Diners who appreciate the fresh, seasonal fare the market has to offer but would rather have someone else do the cooking, can head on over to Campagnolo Restaurant for Wednesday-night market features. Inspired by the abundance of produce from the nearby Thornton Park farmers’ market, every Wednesday, Campagnolo prepares a market fresh menu. Diners can look forward to local ingredients like rhubarb, peas, asparagus, tomatoes, stinging nettles, corn & strawberries, to name a few. Every Wednesday the chef shops at the market, selects ingredients that inspire and returns to the Italian eatery to craft the evening’s unique menu items.
