Joie Farm Pinot Blanc 2012

An old-vine Pinot Blanc crafted from grapes grown on vines 25 years plus.  Alsatian in style, the Pinot Blanc has gorgeous aromas of apple, mandarin, and some citrus notes.  Good acidity with apricot, some tropical fruits and a slight minerality.  Very good with some fresh spot prawns!  Another bottle please.

Saturna Island Family Estate Riesling 2011 ($16.99)

Saturna Island Family Estate Winery’s Winemaker, Homan Haftbaradaran, has made some welcome changes at Saturna Island winery; one being sourcing some of the grapes off-island to develop varieties not grown on the Saturna. Tasting Argentina

Wines of Argentina Top 5

The Wines of Argentina came to town and while I would have liked to have a bit (actually a lot) more time in the tasting room, I did, however, manage to source out a few favourites that would be welcome additions to your fall tasting line up.           2010 mapema Sauvignon [...]
