Centennial Harvest Feast: Share a meal, share a story

On September 24, join 1,000 guests in celebrating 100 years of UBC at Centennial Harvest Feast—an outdoor community feast of epic proportions!

Chefs from UBC Food Services and AMS Conferences and Catering will be preparing a three-course meal that is inspired by everything UBC including fresh, local produce from the UBC Farm. A DJ will help us unwind and long tables will be set up so guests can mingle and get to know each other better. Alma Mater Society President Aaron Bailey, will be our event MC.

Stick around and end the evening by exploring UBC’s incredible Arts and Culture District at Arts Night Out—venues including the Museum of Anthropology, Chan Centre, Belkin Art Gallery and more will be opening their doors to feast guests with free shows and exhibits.

Both dinner and Arts Night Out is included in the ticket price (ranging from $20-$30), designed to be accessible to all members of our community. Tickets can be purchased individually or in tables of 18. Wine will be on sale by the bottle – perfect for sharing. We sold out last year and expect the same this year so get your tickets early. No tickets will be sold at the door. Children are welcome to attend. Infants who do not require a seat are free; for children or youth requiring a seat, please check off student when purchasing a ticket.

Menu

Chefs from AMS Conferences and Catering and UBC Food Services will be jointly preparing a three-course, family-style dinner using fresh produce from the UBC Farm.

AMS :  

Salad:  UBC mixed greens with dried fruit and nuts, shallot vinaigrette

Entree: Crispy skin chicken on stewed lentils with spinach

Dessert: Peach cobbler pie and whipped cream

UBC Food Services:

Salad: Late Summer Panzanella Salad:  UBC Farm summer tomatoes, cucumber, radish, fresh herbs, young mozzarella, roasted garlic, toasted French bread, reduced balsamic

Entree: Roasted Summer Squash Penne:  Zucchini, summer squash, swiss chard, baby tomatoes, fresh basil, goat cheese and grated asiago

Dessert: Apple Fritter Bites: Maple bourbon spiked apple cider syrup, spiced apples and cinnamon sugar.

Wine will be available for purchase by the bottle (cash bar only). ID will be checked prior to entry.
