This year the hoteliers of Vancouver’s North Shore have a special treat for visitors, our Christmas Rainforest Getaway Package. North Shore hotels are offering special rates and a fun-filled package, great for traveling families and couples on the move.

Hoteliers on Vancouver’s North Shore have created the Christmas Rainforest Getaway Package, each hotel with its own unique elements so there is something for every type of traveler and every budget. Each package, no matter which hotel is chosen will include the following:

Vancouver’s North Shore is situated in the heart of a temperate rainforest. That means, at this time of year, if it isn’t raining right now, it is going to be raining soon. But rain doesn’t slow us down. We embrace the fresh, moist air and keep up with our daily activities – both indoors and outdoors. Visitors are encouraged to do the same. Don’t just tolerate the weather; embrace the rain and all that flows from it. Our green landscapes, our towering cedars and the white tips of the mountains are all part of this unique ecosystem.  Go for a walk in the rainforest and discover nature’s treasures, unimaginable in almost all other parts of Canada. Walk the deep river canyons on suspension bridges, stroll amongst the treetops, explore the rivers and streams to look for squirrels, raccoons and ducks. The once you have explored all the outdoors have to offer, settle in for a day of shopping at the renowned Park Royal Shopping Centre.
