Four Seasons Resort Whistler offers an array of Olympic-inspired activities and packages for guests to catch the spirit of the Games.

Four Seasons Resort Whistler, the only AAA Five Diamond Resort in Canada, continues to have availability during the Olympic Games. This rate includes a CAD $200 food and beverage spending credit per room which is valid in Fifty Two 80 Bistro and Bar and In-Room Dining. To ignite the spirit of sport and competition, on and off the slopes, Four Seasons Resort Whistler has designed a number of in-house activities leading up to and during the Olympics.

Reach the finish line and warm up in record time by sipping on a ‘2010 Torch’ cocktail (CAD $55), a deliciously athletic mix of pear purée, Monavie energy drink and lemongrass-infused vodka served in a copper torch-inspired glass. This experience is sure to entertain with a personal torch ceremony as the servers sweep towards the guest from bar to table top hitting the mark with the flaming cocktail passed in relay fashion. View the running of the torch at Fifty Two 80 Bar.

The award-winning Spa at Four Seasons Resort Whistler has designed a treatment for the World Cup Champion or amateur athlete at heart. Endorsed by Britt Janyk of the Canadian Alpine Women’s Ski Team, the On the Podium Après Alpine Treatment is a 110 minute full body experience (CAD $285). Hot stones soothe tired back muscles, while warm, moist towels wrapped around the feet restore circulation. A combination of stretching and deep tissue massage restore muscles, preparing any athlete for another action packed day in the Alpine. “The massage is fantastic,” said Janyk. “It is a great balance between a sports massage and a relaxation treatment. I feel like I have a new set of feet!”

Amateur video makers will have an opportunity to hone their skills and compete for phenomenal prizes. Four Seasons Resort Whistler presents The Spirit of Whistler Video Competition, where guests are encouraged to go into the village and capture the essence of Whistler through a video camera during the Olympic period. The winning video will earn the owner a prize certain to please.

Kids visiting Four Seasons Resort Whistler during 2010 can ‘celebrate the possible’ with their very own Gold Medal Camp for Little Champs. All the while, parents can relax knowing they are in the hands of their very own Whistler Base Camp Counselor who will lead them through daily Olympic inspired games and activities. Reaching for gold, kids can triumph with a special Wii Olympics Game Room which offers a different action-packed video game in addition to supervised outdoor competitions lovingly known as the ‘Wee Olympics’.

During the games, the Clean Your Plate Club offers a new incentive for kids to finish their meal – their very own Olympic medal! That’s right…upon presenting an empty plate in Fifty Two 80 Bistro, the youngster’s hearty appetite will be recognized with a keepsake Chocolate Gold Medal.
