EAT Fraser Valley Food + Cooking Festival in Abbotsford

Chef and Host of Pitchin’ In, Lynn Crawford Appearing Live at the 3rd Annual EAT! Fraser Valley Food + Cooking Festival

The 3rd Annual EAT! Fraser Valley – Food + Cooking Festival returns Sept 17-19 at the Tradex in Abbotsford offering up three delicious days full of local foods, live cooking demonstrations, wine and beer tasting and lots more.

The top attraction at EAT! Fraser Valley Food Network Celebrity Stage this year will be acclaimed chef Lynn Crawford, host of Pitchin’ In on Food Network.

Whether competing against Bobby Flay in the popular Iron Chef competition, or hosting Food Network Canada’s Pitchin’ In & Restaurant Makeover, Chef Crawford has established herself as a tremendous culinary presence in Canada. She is the only female chef in the Four Seasons hotel chain worldwide to have the honour of holding the executive chef position. Her new restaurant in Toronto, Ruby WatchCo, has opened to an instant fan base of food lovers and supporters of all things local.

The Food Network Stage is also pleased to host Vancouver’s very own, Chef Rob Feenie for his very first appearance at EAT! Fraser Valley. Chef Rob Feenie is the head of the Cactus Club Test Kitchen, where he permanently resides as Food Concept Architect. In addition to publishing three cookbooks and starring in New Classics with Chef Rob Feenie on Food Network Canada for five seasons, he is most noted for claiming the lucrative Iron Chef title after defeating Chef Masaharu Morimoto on the Food Network’s Iron Chef America. Today, Vancouverites affectionately refer to him as “Our Iron Chef.”

In addition to the numerous cooking demonstrations, EAT! Fraser Valley will also feature the BITE of the Valley Pavilion. Visitors will be able to indulge in delicious menu items from various local Fraser Valley restaurants with appy-size items ranging in price from only $1-$3.

EAT! Fraser Valley is the best way to discover new foods, cooking techniques, shop from local companies and explore the numerous exhibit, and watch some live cooking demonstrations on the ever popular Food Network Celebrity Stage.

Mark your calendars, the best place to explore new tastes and flavours from the heart of Valley is definitely at EAT! Fraser Valley.
