What to Eat & Drink at Eat! Vancouver Food + Cooking Festival

IMG_4715Take at least a quick break from the sunshine this weekend and check out EAT! Vancouver Food + Cooking Festival at BC Place Stadium on May 30, 31 & June 1, 2014.

Time it right and you can catch Lynn Crawford, Chuck Hughes, and Vikram Vij on the Food Network Celebrity Stage, along with Ned Bell of Four Seasons Hotel Vancouver and Rob Feenie of Cactus Club Restaurants. There’s lots to sample so be sure to pick some tickets especially for the Sips area where you’ll find some great local wine, beer and spirits.

We got a sneak peek on opening night and scouted out some key stops.

Don’t miss the mini Hawkers Market on the far side of the room next to the Sip tent and stage. Here you’ll want to sample through Cajeta from Ceiba Gourmet (the most awesome caramel sauce) and perhaps some of the dim sum items or ice cream sandwiches from Brown Paper Packages.

Over in the Bites by sure to get an order Pork Adobo from Max’s Restaurant and some BC Lighthouse Oysters from Glowbal Group.
