Hawksworth Restaurant Winemaker Dinner with M. Michael Chapoutier

Hawksworth Restaurant presents a rare opportunity to join one of France’s most esteemed winemakers Michel Chapoutier, for an intimate winemaker dinner in Hawksworth’s private room on Wednesday June 20th.

Chapoutier will personally host an incredible culinary evening, pairing wines from M. Chapoutier’s wineries in Australia and the Alsace region, with a five-course tasting menu and canapé reception, prepared by Chef David Hawksworth and team. Since purchasing the family business from his grandfather in 1990, Chapoutier has established himself as one of the most visible figures in the wine world. A proponent of terroir driven wines from the Rhône region of France, this is Chapoutier’s sole winemaker dinner in Vancouver.

“We are thrilled to welcome Michel Chapoutier to Hawksworth, later this month,” declared Hawksworth’s Wine Director and Vancouver’s Sommelier of the Year, Terry Threlfall. “One of the great winemakers of our time, M. Chapoutier is sure to bring a wealth of stories and charisma to this exclusive dinner in our private York Room.”

An evening with Michel Chapoutier will take place on Wednesday June 20th at Hawksworth Restaurant, the York Room at 7pm with limited ticket numbers available.
