Last Call for Apogee Merlot from Le Vieux Pin

Le Vieux Pin has changed the name of the Apogée Merlot to the Le Vieux Pin Reserve Merlot. This was done to avoid confusion as well as to honour an agreement made with L’École 41 in Washington State.  The agreement allows the winery to continue selling wines with the Apogée name until April 2011 and they  are already down to a very limitted amount of the Le Vieux Pin Apogée 2006.

This is the very same wine that 3 Michelin star celebrity chef Jean-Georges was “Blown Away” by when he tasted it at Market Restaurant in Shangri-La Hotel in Vancouver.

The wine is now offered at $60 dollars a bottle. This is the best ever price they have offered on this wine and this offer expires strictly on April 1st when our agreement with L’École 41 requires us to stop using the “Apogée” name.

They have also dug into our wine library to offer a very special vertical release. This 3 year vertical is a terrific way to start a collection, or makes a fantastic gift.

  • 2x Apogée 2005, 2x Apogée 2006 and 2x Merlot Reserve 2007
  • For $378 (only $63 a bottle!)
