New Meaning of Fresh at Seasonal 56

Seasonal 56 features fine dining in Langley that takes advantage of local farm produce grown on some of the finest soil in the world. Designed to promote and feature the fresh produce of the Fraser Valley’s farms, fields and streams, in addition to its regular menu, Seasonal 56 Restaurant creates Chef’s Tables and Take it or Leave It Menus to take advantage of the very best available that day or week.

“Daily access to fresh produce, often picked within hours of serving, lets our customers experience unsurpassable flavours and textures,” shares owner Adrian Beaty. “The Fraser Valley generates some of the finest food ingredients in the world. We see ourselves as part of the community of farmers so we collaborate with them to bring quality ingredients at our doorstep within hours of harvesting, and we cite the sources of our ingredients on the menu.”

Chef Beaty selects organic vegetables and goat cheese, artisan natural cheeses, hand picked greens, and pasture raised duck, pork and lamb for the table. He is committed to sourcing producers who respect their products and the sustainability of their land. This is food anyone can feel good about serving or eating – with the majority of ingredients harvested within a hundred mile radius.

Chef Beaty also strives to create a community that includes restaurant patrons, so he offers a Kitchen Table event. The table, which accommodates 2 – 4 guests, is located in the kitchen so guests witness first-hand the artistry, professionalism and sheer hard work that goes into being a cook. Chef Beaty takes great pleasure in interacting with his guests and serving them himself. Chef Beaty needs at least 24 hours notice to create this special blend of magic in his kitchen.

Seasonal 56 now has Seasonal to Go retail food store so fans and patrons can have access to products that Chef Beaty uses in his catering, restaurant and cooking classes. Also available are some of their own house-made products such as soups, stocks, entrees, and desserts.

Chef Beaty and his team have carried over their philosophy of working collaboratively with local farmers to their Vancouver catering business, The Seasonal Experience. While they will customize the menu to the client’s needs, they strive to use the freshest local ingredients. Seasonal Experience caters events from North Vancouver to Chilliwack.
