iPad Menus at LIFT

Why are restaurant menus still printed on paper? Good question. Which is why LIFT is excited to be the first Vancouver restaurant to test a new iPad menu application. During the next four weeks of the iPad trial, come touch-screen your way through our fun, interactive menus.

From detailed food descriptors and mouth-watering images to wine tasting notes and pairing recommendations, simply compile your order and hand the iPad back to your server. Yes, while we’re embracing new technology, it’s never going to replace our knowledgeable service team who will be there for menu questions, iPad tips and most importantly, your feedback.

That’s right, and don’t hold back. Throughout the four-week trial we want feedback on what you think of our bold new menu frontier – see you soon!

The JOIE of Spring

Spring (sigh)… makes you want to take your coat off and celebrate something. We’ve got the perfect pour to enjoy with that from one of British Columbia’s most acclaimed wineries. JOIE (zh-wah) meaning “joy” is what you can expect from their 2009 Muscat.

Enjoy fantastic floral aromas with hints of tangerine, peach and spice with a fresh, clean palate. Great on its own or paired with some of our spicier sushi menu options.
