For sausage lovers far and wide, Oyama Sausage is a haven of delicious, artisan charcuterie. On Wednesday, May 16 at 6:30 p.m. we welcome the mastermind behind Oyama, Jan van der Lieck, for an evening all about salami. Jan will share his vast knowledge of the topic of salami: from its humble origins to various styles, production methods and ingredients while guests enjoy a hearty salami-focused meal. Ralf Joneikies from Viti will also be on hand to pour and discuss salami-friendly wines and beverages.

Each guest will be entered into a draw to win a limited first edition of Salami by Gerarde Oberle worth $650.00. A veritable ode to the king of charcuterie, Salami is filled with erudite meditations and essays and carefully chosen portraits of the finest Italian salamis by Hans Gissinger. One of 500 numbered copies signed by Gissinger, Salami will be a much treasured addition to a cookbook collection.

Tickets to this very unique evening are $75.00 and include a salami education, supper, wine and a 1-in-21 chance to win a limited edition, signed copy of Salami (worth $650.00).
