Squeeze the most out of Summer with the Pressé Summer Series at MARKET by Jean-Georges

ImageProxyWith summer in full swing, starting Friday, July 26, MARKET by Jean-Georges will be hosting a series of fresh and fun events to ensure that we all make the most out of our summer nights. The Pressé Summer Series with DJ Charles Blair, complimentary appetizers from 4:00 to 6:00 pm, and drink specials, including a featured pressé for $6.00 and a Grey Goose cocktails roster for $9.00 each. The evenings run from 4:00 through 8:00 pm with the final night of the series on September 13, 2013.

Fresh-pressed and inspired by a favourite French cafe drink, the pressé is traditionally crafted tableside at sidewalk cafes in France. A simple but balanced blend of vodka, fresh-pressed fruit, sugar and club soda, the pressé is the perfect way to celebrate summer and all its bounty.

The Pressé Summer Series will kick off on the patio with DJ Charles Blair spinning some hot summer beats, signature menu items from the MARKET by Jean-Georges lounge menu, Grey Goose cocktails, and the Citrus Cherry Pressé as the feature pressé. Guests can expect to be welcomed with local, seasonal, fresh menu items with a global influence that Jean-Georges is known for including the Rice Cracker Crusted Tuna, Citrus with Sriracha Emulsion and the Steelhead Sashimi on a bed of Crispy Rice.

MARKET by Jean-Georges is the first restaurant in Canada for the three-star Michelin chef Jean-Georges Vongerichten and the signature restaurant of Shangri-La Hotel, Vancouver. MARKET, open seven days a week from breakfast through dinner, is located on the hotel’s third floor and accessible through the hotel or directly off Alberni Street.
