From Tourism VancouverCANADA’S FIRST SUSTAINABLE BREWERY BRINGS HISTORY TO LIFE
In 1897, Belgian pioneer brewmaster Frank Foubert established Stanley Park Brewery on the south shore of Lost Lagoon next to the entrance arch in Stanley Park. The brewery was a recognizable landmark in the park, providing refreshment to park visitors. Fast forward 113 years, and Stanley Park Brewery launches Canada’s first sustainable brewery and brings back these fond memories of Vancouver’s past with their founding beer, “Stanley Park 1897 Amber”. A Belgian-style amber ale, the light-bodied beer has a subtle flavour complexity and an exceptionally-clean finish. What’s more, a 110-foot wind turbine harnesses the wind to provide power for the state-of-the-art craft brewery, using much less water and energy than a conventional brewery. Frank Foubert would be proud. Visitors wanting to taste part of Vancouver’s heritage can head to one of the 160 pubs, restaurants and hotels carrying the beer, or pick up a six-pack at a Vancouver liquor store.

So where can I find a list of restaurants and pubs that serve the 1897 Stanley Park beer – I like Belgian beer, and I’m looking for a downtown/Yaletown place that serves it.
