She’s all personality and a pro on the grill, that’s why Danielle Dimovski, aka “Diva Q” has caught the eye of many including big name food show producers in the U.S. Last year, she was featured on TLC’s hit show, BBQ Pitmasters where she demonstrated why she’s one of Canada’s best BBQ chefs! Everything from direct searing to planking and across the board from shellfish to fish on the bottom. On the menu is House of Q Oysters, Prosciutto Wrapped Prawns with Chilli Lime Dip, Sweet Mustard Glazed Salmon and Big Al’s Planked Halibut. 3 Part Kids Cook Gourmet with Chef Georgia Morley (ages 8-13 years)

August 3-5                     11:00 am – 1:30 pm

Day 1 – Summer brunch extraordinary – eggs benny with ham on a potato rosti, orange creamscicle pancakes, chocolate croissant bread pudding, yogurt parfaits and berry delight smoothies

Day 2 – baking, baking, baking – berry shortcakes with vanilla scones, double fudge brownies, pizza bread, pear upside down cake with maple whip, mini peach pies in mason jars with ice cream!!

Day 3 – Fancy family dinner – real caesar salad, quinoa and artichoke heart pilaf with feta and bacon, grilled chicken breast with blackberry jus, roasted summer veggies and Smokey yam parcels, vanilla bean crème brûlée with berries and chocolate.

Halibut with Chef Karen Barnaby

Perfectly fresh, in season BC Halibut – there really are few things as incredibly delicious. Chef Karen Barnaby from The Fish House in Stanley Park will recreate some of her signature halibut dishes for us tonight. You will be sufficiently inspired to make them at your house…over & over again. We will start the class off with a Pan Seared Halibut with a Burnt Orange Wasabi Glaze followed by Halibut with Corn Chardonnay butter. Next one of our personal FAVES Karen’s now famous Halibut and “Chips”, you’ve never had anything like it! And because pork makes everything better – Pancetta-Wrapped Halibut with a Smoked Tomato Vinaigrette & finally to wrap things up a spicy Indian inspired Halibut Masala. If you’ve always wanted to learn how to dress up everyday cupcakes with fun and elaborate designs, then this hands-on class is for you! Join us in learning and practicing some basic piping techniques, and then put those new-found skills to work by designing and decorating cupcakes in fun and creative ways. Learn how to make some popular designs, and how to add those little touches that will make it all your own, From simple to spectacular cupcake creations, this class will be sure to impress even the toughest cupcake critic. Please bring a reusable container to take your creations home.

$40 includes 8 piece piping kit.
