The Israeli-born chef, restaurateur and TV personality has become the most fashionable and modern of cookery writers whose flavourful twists on Middle Eastern food have converted millions world-wide since Ottolenghi: The Cookbook – co-written with fellow Jerusalem native Sami Tamimi – was first published in 2008.
