The Vancouver Gluten Free Expo is back and bigger than ever. The 2015 expo is being held on January 17 and 18 at Canada Place.

Tickets are available online for $12 until January 16, 2015, and for $15 (cash only) at the door. Children ages 10 or under get in free and must be supervised by an adult.

This year the two-day event includes 120 exhibitors, more than ever before! There will be a brand new Kid’s Fun Zone just for the little ones and, as always, a list of speakers that includes some of the most informed and influential people in the gluten-free community. The Vancouver Gluten Free Expo is the best place to get the most up-to-date information on everything gluten free!

This rise in interest in gluten-free products and events is understandable when you consider the amount of people that are moving to a gluten-free or gluten-reduced lifestyle. The Canadian Digestive Health Foundation estimates that there are over 330,000 Canadians affected by celiac disease with only approximately 110,000 diagnosed. More and more Canadians are looking for the best way to reduce their gluten intake.

As always, the Gluten Free Expo will be accepting donations of gluten-free foods for the food bank. To date, over 10,000 pounds of food and $22,000 in cash donations have gone towards buying gluten-free foods for food banks across Canada.

The Vancouver Gluten Free Expo promises educational and entertaining speakers to provide guests with the most reliable information on gluten-free diets. Nutritional researchers, registered dieticians and media personalities like Patricia Chuey and Desiree Nielsen will be on site giving cooking demonstrations, and offering invaluable advice and tips for living the best gluten-free lifestyle.
