FOOD & WINE, the ultimate authority on the best of what’s new in food, drink, travel, style, and entertaining, is proud to announce they will be the official media partner for the Toronto Food & Wine Festival. Debuting in September 2015, the Toronto Food & Wine Festival is the new name and format for Informa Canada’s Delicious Food Show.

Christina Grdovic, SVP/Publisher of FOOD & WINE, said, “We’re thrilled to be teaming up with Informa Canada and that Ontario Tourism Marketing Partnership Corporation (OTMPC) will help promote the Toronto Food & Wine Festival in 2015. The city is a prime destination for an event of this kind – it has a white-hot restaurant scene, stylish hotels, and easy access from all over the U.S. And, while FOOD & WINE hosts premier culinary experiences across America and in other parts of the world, this partnership is particularly exciting since it marks our first annual festival in Canada.”

This monumental partnership brings with it a roster of unparalleled celebrity chef talent and a tried-and-true format, which has been the foundation of the other festivals’ successes, to the newly named show. Previous guests of Delicious Food Show will notice a change in venue; the Toronto Food & Wine Festival’s Grand Tasting Pavilion will be centrally located in downtown Toronto and will have several hands-on workshops and panels taking place throughout the city.

Judy Merry, Vice President of Informa Canada, the largest trade and consumer event producers in the country, is ecstatic with the new partnership, saying, “With FOOD & WINE on board we’re able to continue to build upon the foundation Delicious Food Show has created, and will be able to offer guests the chance to see previously inaccessible talent, purveyors, and so much more.” At the helm of the show, now in its third year, Judy is excited to bring a world-class name and festival to Canada’s grandest metropolis, adding, “Toronto is the fourth largest city in North America and deserves to have a festival that will offer a range of culinary personalities and merchants that only the Toronto Food & Wine Festival can bring.”

Over the three years Delicious Food Show has taken place in Toronto, it has built a reputation for having some of the world’s top culinary talent (Martha Stewart, Mario Batali, Tyler Florence, Chuck Hughes, to name a few), and for being the authority on all things food and entertaining. FOOD & WINE is truly a world-class publication and the foremost authority on food and culinary events, with festivals and festival partnerships in other marquee cities and destinations like New York, Austin, LA, Hawaii, Atlanta, Barbados, and Aspen, with the celebrated FOOD & WINE Classic in Aspen that launched more than 30 years ago.

Over the course of three delectable days, the 2015 Toronto Food & Wine Festival will showcase the expertise, creativity, and excellence of the world’s most renowned culinary, wine, and spirit virtuosos. Attendees will delight in programming that features fan-favourite celebrity chefs, highlights exceptional culinary destinations, exposes epicurean delicacies, and brings the world of wine and spirits to local palates.
