UBC Chef Challenge

The competition is fierce at in the UBC food scene as the UBC Food Services go up against chefs from AMS Conferences and Catering,
and Mahony and Sons Public daily to grab appetites and dollars from students, staff and UBC visitors and residents!

They’re now making it official with a foodie competition at UBC and features two notable chefs on campus and more!

This year’s theme is Global meets local. Competing chefs will prepare three globally inspired canapés sourced from local ingredients. Guests will then have the opportunity to sample and vote on their favourite creations.

We’re excited to announce that the UBC Farm will be on hand to answer your questions about what’s local and in season. Some produce will be available for sale. Please bring a reusable bag.

  • Where: Flagpole Plaza on Main Mall (in between Crescent Road and Memorial Road)

Tickets are now on sale online!

Your ticket includes appetizers, one glass of wine or beverage and chefs’ canapés

$15 students
$18 staff, faculty, UNA residents and general public

Additional wine, beer and beverages are available for cash purchase.

Eat, drink and catch up with friends while a DJ plays the songs of summer.
