“Up Close and Personal with Colin Mochrie and Guests,” October 3

Vancouver TheatreSports™ League (VTSL) announces a second date for “Up Close and Personal with Colin Mochrie and Guests” has been added on Friday, October 3. Featuring two improvised comedy shows (7:30 pm and 9:30 pm), the second date will take place at The Improv Centre on Granville Island, VTSL’s home base offering reserved theatre and cabaret-style seating.

On October 4, Colin will perform two sold-out “Up Close and Personal with Colin Mochrie and Guests” shows at Performance Works on Granville Island. Proceeds from both the October 3 and October 4 “Up Close” shows will support VTSL’s Improv Comedy Institute, the brand new educational division of Vancouver TheatreSports™, opening in October, along with VTSL’s community outreach.

“Tickets sold-out fast for the October 4 shows,” says Jay Ono, VTSL Executive Director. “We are thrilled that Colin has agreed to join us for an additional night of action-packed improv-comedy all in support of VTSL community and educational programming.”

Canada’s best-known improviser, Colin is an alumnus of both VTSL and Toronto’s Second City comedy troupes; in addition, he was a regular on both the British and American versions of Whose Line Is It Anyway. He is currently on a popular North American improv tour with his former Whose Line Is It Anyway cast mate, Brad Sherwood.
