Happy Spring! Finally! We’ve had crazy weather this past month, from hail storms to days of such heat, that the greenhouse was (almost) unbearable, but at long last it looks like spring is here to stay!
Funny but the above was cut and pasted from last May’s newsletter and it applied to this May as well!! Really hoping that the blue sky I see out the window today lasts until October !!
Lots of excitement around the farm the last few months to tell you about. First and foremost…we’ve moved!! Well not really, but the Farmgate Shop & Tasting Room has. We’ve renovated the original farmhouse on the property to the west of us, you’ll now be entering in off of 208th Street (no more pot holes!!) We’ve also just received our ‘Picnic License’ from the LCLB, more on that below. Tugboat Media is putting the finishing touches on our new website, can’t wait to see the finished product; and last, and most importantly we’ve added to our team, more Vistadorian’s to welcome you to the farm, be sure to say ‘hi’ to Kenzi & Benedict when you stop by!
The original farmhouse reno’s are complete (mostly) and we’ve moved the cheese cooler in! Our new Farmgate Market & Tasting Room is now located at 346 – 208th Street (right next to the old Dairy Barn) come see the finished result…
