On Friday, August 21st, Sensory Cinema goes to the great outdoors with Upstairs at Campagnolo and UBC Farm for The Wet Hot American Cook-Out.

Wet Hot American Summer will be paired with a fun-filled night of food, drinks and camp fun. With a summer camp cook-out by ‘Upstairs’ at Campagnolo, Chef Jesse McMillan will be dishing out a very special menu of playful cook-out favourites using ingredients harvested fresh from the UBC Farm. Dessert and drinks will be served with the sunset as the movie begins.

Lizzy Karp and Ken Tsui are celebrating their favourite cult comedy of all time, Wet Hot American Summer by bringing together a fun-filled night of food, drinks and camp fun. With a summer camp cook-out by “Upstairs” at Campagnolo, dessert and drinks are paired with the sunset as the outdoor screen flickers on for a showing of the comedy classic under the stars. Chef Jesse McMillan of “Upstairs” at Campagnolo is dishing out a very special menu of playful cook-out favourites using ingredients harvested fresh from the UBC Farm.

Here There is Lizzy Karp (Rain City Chronicles) and Ken Tsui (The Golden Dumpling Cook Off), a duo dedicated to hosting creative, new experiences in Vancouver. Together, they’re teaming up with chef Jesse McMillan and “Upstairs” at Campagnolo, best known for their signature “Dirty Burger”.

With the added dimension of taste, touch and smell, the movie comes alive in an immersive cinematic experience. Regardless of whether you’ve seen the film once or not at all, Sensory Outdoor Cinema is this summer’s most essential experience.
