White Spot 85th Anniversary Menu

triple_triple2

White Spot is celebrating their 85th Anniversary by bringing back some all-time favs until July 13, 2013. The classic recipes date back to when Nat Bailey, their founder started it all.  Head to any location to try the delicious Chicken Pick’ns from its first location on Granville Street in Vancouver the Meatloaf Dinner, original BBQ Chicken Sandwich and Triple Triple three-patty burger. Finish your meal off with Bumbleberry Pie or the Nat Bailey ‘Adult’ Shake with Bailey’s and Amaretto.

“For many British Columbians, White Spot is a home away from home,” says Warren Erhart, president of White Spot. “As the overwhelming number of guest stories attest, I’m proud to say we’ve become part of the fabric of the province. Great value and uncompromising taste in a family-friendly setting; that’s the way Nat Bailey wanted it to be.”

We headed in to sample the menu and left with smiles and plenty of leftovers.  I’m craving the Chicken Pick’ns daily now, uber-moist and crispy fried chicken, but don’t think I have room for another triple burger although it was tasty and challenging to even take a bite of this meaty number.

Bumbleberry-Pie2

The milk shake is delicious as is the Bumbleberry Pie. It’s definitely a fun flash back to the past and the price is right.  Try some Granville Island Nat Bailey Ale or Peller Estate BC VQA wine to help wash it all down.  You won’t leave hungry, that I guarantee.

Chef Kirstofer Bihis came out to chat and say hello.  Fun times! Don’t miss out.  Only until July 13.
