As always, local Vancouver celebrities will be on hand to push the Dim Sum carts and serve guests. Fred Lee, Vanhattan’s Man About Town and regular contributor to The CBC, The Province and Vancouver Courier Newspaper co-hosts again this year with Sophie Lui from Global TV News.

Joining them are CTV Morning Live’s Ann Luu, The Rush’s hostess Fiona Forbes, CTV News Anchor Mi-Jung Lee, Kyle Donaldson and Michel McDermott from Breakfast Television/City TV, OMNI News Anchor Bowen Zhang, CBC’s Rick Cluff and Cecilia Walters, Founder and Editor-in-Chief of 30 Day Adventures Marc Smith, Joytv’s and CarmenTV’s Carmen Ruiz y Laza, Leah Bolton and Dean Atwal from JoytvNEWS, Mary Zilba, Recording Artist and formerly of the Real Housewives of Vancouver, Barb Snelgrove, Radio Host @QueerFMVan, ReporterOUTLooktv/OUTtv, and President of megamouthmedia, Ryan Steele, well-known Vancouver bartender, stand-up comic and Amazing Race Canada contestant, and His Worship, Mayor Gregor Robertson.

“Celebrity Dim Sum is a signature fundraiser for AIDS Vancouver, and we’re honoured and delighted that so many high-profile Vancouverites give their time in support of our Community Outreach programs,” said AIDS Vancouver executive director Dr. Brian Chittock. “The funds raised from our Celebrity Dim Sum event ensures that we can continue to provide vital information and educational services to the people who need it most – those who are at the greatest risk of contracting HIV.”

Tickets are $65 each, and $600 for a table of 10, including wine provided by Haywire Winery. They can only be purchased directly on the AIDS Vancouver site, http://www.aidsvancouver.org/celebrity_dim_sum.  Guests will be treated to the hugely popular Annual Chicken Feet Eating Contest, and live and silent auctions will round out the festivities in support of AIDS Vancouver and the community it serves.

Once again this year, WestJet has provided two travel vouchers for anywhere WestJet flies. Raffle tickets are on sale now, and are $20 each.
