What’s Good This Week July 16 Edition

What To Do in and Around Vancouver This Week

We’re well into July and we’ve still got lots of summer to-dos to check off the list. Don’t let the days slip away without creating some memories of your own. Here are a couple of ways to celebrate summer.

strongbowribs2

Drink – Strongbow’s newly launched Rosé Apple Cider

We’ve been sipping a few ciders this month and finding that Rose’s are becoming more popular. This latest offering from Strongbow is light pink in colour, with flavours of red apple, some white flower and berry notes. Medium-sweet, we like this one with grilled ribs. Why not try the PC Dry Rub Salt and Pepper Pork Back Ribs?

bard on the beach

Bard on The Beach June 5 – September 21, 2019

We’ve seen three of the four plays from the 30th Season and think it may just be the best yet! The Taming of the Shrew, inspired by Bard’s 2007 Wild-West production, a hilarious runaway hit, plays in repertory on the BMO Mainstage, along with the Elizabethan-era romantic comedy, Shakespeare in Love.

The Howard Family Stage is home to two innovative new productions: Shakespeare’s All’s Well That Ends Well, set in India and sparked with South-Asian music and dance, and Coriolanus, a no-holds-barred political tragedy filled with resonance for our time.
