Burdock & Co Celebrates Radicchio
On Wednesday, November 27th, Michelin-starred Burdock & Co is hosting a unique tasting experience that will celebrate radicchio. Guests will enjoy delicious culinary creations prepared by several talented chefs, highlighting the complex flavour profile of radicchio. Sea Cider will be there!
Three time slots are available, and tickets range from $55 to $65.
Dusk Tasting from 5 pm – 6:30 pm
Evening Tasting from 6:30 pm – 8 pm
Late Night Tasting from 8 pm – 9:30 pm
The ticket includes a Feast of Fields cedar tasting plank, cider from Sea Cider Farm & Cider House (a non-alcoholic option is also available), sparkling wine from TIME Family of Wines provided by Revelry Imports, and Le Clos de Tue-Boeuf wine provided by Racine Wine Imports.

Chef Andrea Carlson
Canada’s first female Michelin-starred chef and owner of Burdock & Co, Andrea, is renowned for her creative Pacific Northwest cuisine that highlights the diverse environments and flavours of British Columbia through sustainable, locally sourced ingredients.
Chef Akira Kishimoto
As the owner and head chef of Kishimoto on Commercial Drive, Chef Akira blends his training in Osaka and Kyoto with a deep commitment to local ingredients, creating visually stunning dishes that celebrate both Japanese traditions and the bounty of our region.
Chef Lee Cooper
Named Chef of the Year in 2024 by Vancouver Magazine, Chef Lee brings his expertise to L’Abattoir in Gastown, known for its refined, award-winning food.
Chef Peter Ho
Trained in Taiwan and Tokyo, Chef Peter is a master of charcoal grilling and yakitori, focusing on precision and technique. In 2025, he will open Sumibiyaki Arashi, Vancouver’s newest authentic Japanese grill cuisine destination.

Athiana Acres and Glorious Organics grow the organic radicchio featured in Bold Flavours. Farmers Daniel Garfinkel of Athiana Acres and Mark Cormier of Glorious Organics will be on hand to answer questions about radicchio. You’ll be surprised how versatile this vegetable is.
