Individuals or teams can participate.<br \/>\nTeams can represent Hotels, Pubs, Restaurants, Industry suppliers or any other establishment or a group\u00a0of individuals.<br \/>\nDuring the campaign each team fundraises for the BCHF. How the fundraising is done is left to the\u00a0team, but the concept is that the funds are contributed by members of the industry. Easy and effective.\u00a0Ideas include &#8211; \u201ctoonie or loose change drives\u201d, 50\/50 draws and raffles. Some teams may consider\u00a0donating in a percentage of tips earned during the campaign.\u00a0Teams and individuals are encouraged to register online at <a href=\"www.TipOutToHelp.com\" target=\"_blank\">www.TipOutToHelp.com<\/a>. This website<br \/>\nprovides the opportunity to send personalised e-mails to colleagues, friends and family requesting\u00a0support for their fundraising efforts. The website also has downloadable posters and flyers. At the end\u00a0of the campaign each team submits their funds to the BCHF and the totals raised will appear on the on\u00a0line \u201cscoreboard\u201d.<br \/>\nHow to help in 6 easy steps<br \/>\n1. Sign up at www.TipOutToHelp.com<br \/>\n2. Set a fundraising goal ( suggest amounts &#8211; small hotel, bar or restaurant $500-1000 \u2013 larger<br \/>\nestablishment $2000)<br \/>\n3. Send an e-mail to all contacts to ask for support \u2013 they can donate online<br \/>\n4. Plan your fundraising activities \/ ideas<br \/>\n5. Fundraise from Thanksgiving toi Halloween 2012 or start right away<br \/>\n6. November 1 , 2012- report and submit funds raised<br \/>\nThank you for \u201cworking together to help our own\u201d<br \/>\nThe BCHF supports individuals employed in the Hospitality Industry in times of financial need related\u00a0to a health or medical condition.
