CJA<\/p>\n<p>In Wednesday night\u2019s episode of the second season of Food Network\u2019s Canadian original reality competition series <strong><em><a href=\"http:\/\/www.recipetoriches.ca\/\" target=\"_blank\">Recipe to Riches<\/a><\/em><\/strong>, civil engineer <a href=\"http:\/\/www.foodnetwork.ca\/recipe-to-riches\/season2\/bio.html?id=57093\" target=\"_blank\">Stephen Childs<\/a> from Victoria, British Columbia, was declared the winner of the Savoury Snacks category.<\/p>\n<p>As the winner of his category, Stephen will receive $25,000 and his <a href=\"http:\/\/www.foodnetwork.ca\/Recipe-to-Riches\/season2\/recipes\/recipe.html?dishID=13020\" target=\"_blank\">Chipotle Chili Bites<\/a> will be a new <em>President\u2019s Choice<\/em>\u00ae brand product \u2013 Canada\u2019s number one brand* \u2013 available in select Loblaw Companies Limited banner stores across the country starting this weekend.\u00a0 For a list of where <em>President\u2019s Choice<\/em>\u00ae products are sold across Canada, please click <a href=\"http:\/\/www.presidentschoice.ca\/LCLOnline\/store_locator_landing_page.jsp\" target=\"_blank\">here<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Stephen\u2019s competition in the Savoury Snacks category was dental hygienist <a href=\"http:\/\/www.foodnetwork.ca\/recipe-to-riches\/season2\/bio.html?id=57091\" target=\"_blank\">Jennifer Innis<\/a> (Leduc, AB) with her Chicken Cornish Pasties and crisis intervention worker <a href=\"http:\/\/www.foodnetwork.ca\/recipe-to-riches\/season2\/bio.html?id=57092\" target=\"_blank\">Lyndsay Wells<\/a> (Ladysmith, BC) with her Asian Snack Wraps. \u00a0The three finalists competed in a series of challenges that evaluated their recipes\u2019 taste, quality, commercial viability and the entrepreneurial prowess of a potential product launch.<\/p>\n<p>Hosted by former <em>The Bachelor <\/em>star <a href=\"http:\/\/www.foodnetwork.ca\/recipe-to-riches\/season2\/bio.html?id=57034\" target=\"_blank\">Jesse Palmer<\/a>, the competition is judged by a panel of experts including <a href=\"http:\/\/www.foodnetwork.ca\/recipe-to-riches\/season2\/bio.html?id=57036\" target=\"_blank\">Laura Calder<\/a>, host of <em><a href=\"http:\/\/www.foodnetwork.ca\/ontv\/shows\/French-Food-at-Home\/show.html?titleid=105739\" target=\"_blank\">French Food at Home<\/a><\/em>; <a href=\"http:\/\/www.foodnetwork.ca\/recipe-to-riches\/season2\/bio.html?id=57037\" target=\"_blank\">Tony Chapman<\/a>, Founder and CEO of leading advertising agency Capital C; and <a href=\"http:\/\/www.foodnetwork.ca\/recipe-to-riches\/season2\/bio.html?id=57035\" target=\"_blank\">Dana McCauley<\/a>, Culinary Director at Janes Family Foods. Making a special appearance as a weekly guest judge is Galen Weston, Executive Chairman of Loblaw Companies Limited.\u00a0 The winners of each category will receive a $25,000 cash prize and the once-in-a-lifetime opportunity for their recipe to be developed into a <em>President\u2019s Choice<\/em>\u00ae brand product available in select Loblaw banner stores across the country. Each week, Canadians will have the chance to sample category winners\u2019 products in-store. After all category winners have been determined, it\u2019s up to Canadian viewers to vote for the best of the best.\u00a0 Food Network will air a marathon recapping all seven episodes on December 5<sup>th<\/sup>, the same day Canadians can start voting online at <a href=\"http:\/\/www.recipetoriches.ca\" target=\"_blank\">www.recipetoriches.ca<\/a> until December 7<sup>th<\/sup>.\u00a0 During the exciting December 12<sup>th<\/sup> finale, viewers will witness who will take home the $250,000 grand prize \u2013 the largest cash prize in Canadian reality television
