Starting at the end of October, construction begins on a new space at Provence Marinaside \u2013 <strong>The Wine Bar.<\/strong>\u00a0A separate casual dining space; The Wine Bar takes over the space that formerly included Marinaside\u2019s entrance foyer, antipasti case and small \u2018room with a view.\u2019<\/p>\n<p>Designed by Bella Vivante, the same company that designed the renovation on Provence Mediterranean Grill last year, construction of the new room is expected to take a month with the opening anticipated for early December. \u201cAs the construction is confined to an enclosed area, we do not anticipate any inconvenience to our guests\u201d says owner and Executive Chef Jean-Francis Quaglia. \u201cWe hope they will be as excited about the new space as we are.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe Wine Bar at Provence is a place where you can drop by for a glass of wine, have a light snack and meet up with friends.\u201d The self-contained separate facility features the wine bar (serving 50 wines by the glass on tap), casual seating for 30 plus its own separate menu. \u00a0It will be open from 3 p.m. to late every day.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cProvence\u2019s Wine Bar is meant to be very casual and value-priced,\u201d says Chef Quaglia. \u201cWe are introducing a wine-friendly <strong>Bites Menu<\/strong> created especially for The Wine Bar.\u201d \u00a0\u2018Bites\u2019 come in two sizes &#8211; Small Bites created to accompany a glass of wine, and for more substantial appetites, Big Bites that can be shared. \u00a0Wines by the glass will start at $7 with Small Bites coming in at $5 per dish and Big Bites priced at $18.<\/p>\n<p>Sommelier Rachelle Goudreau is also very excited about the installation of a new state-of-the-art wine preservation and dispenser system. \u201cThis allows us to open any bottle of wine and sell glasses from it. We are going to be offering some of the premium bottles from Provence\u2019s cellar \u2013 it\u2019s a great way to try some pretty amazing wine.\u201d \u00a0Montelvini Prosecco will also be available on tap for $6 per glass.<\/p>\n<p>Watch for The Wine Bar to arrive at Provence Marinaside in early December.
