the tuna sandwich with Seared Albacore tuna, avocado, arugula, wasabi, and sweet soy calls to me often. \u00a0It&#8217;s also a great spot to stop in at to sample a local wine or beer along with some steak bites, pizza or bacon sliders.<\/p>\n<p>The restaurant sources fresh, mostly local\u00a0ingredients\u00a0and doesn&#8217;t have a deep fryer of microwave so there&#8217;s a type of slow food culture going on here. \u00a0Recently they&#8217;ve made a move to further composting and recycling, keeping the environment happy.<\/p>\n<p><a title=\"IMG_2420\" href=\"http:\/\/www.flickr.com\/photos\/37519564@N03\/8563497185\/\" rel=\"\"><img data-recalc-dims=\"1\" loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" title=\"IMG_2420\" alt=\"IMG_2420\" src=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/farm9.staticflickr.com\/8518\/8563497185_0c143ef14a.jpg?resize=500%2C311\" width=\"500\" height=\"311\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>The VANEATS.ca Dining Package includes<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li><strong>Flight of Stanley Park Brewery Belgian Style Beer<\/strong>,\n<ul>\n<li>2 &#8220;Ambers&#8221;, subtle toasted malt, lightly hopped, exceptionally clean finish<\/li>\n<li>2 &#8220;Bruns&#8221;, distinctive dried fruit aromatics, complex chocolate, roasted nut and malt biscuit<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li><strong>Your Choice of Appie:<\/strong>,\n<ul>\n<li>&#8220;Tortilla Soup&#8221;, chicken, black beans, corn, avocado, tortilla crisps, mozzarella (gluten free)<\/li>\n<li>&#8220;Baked Brie&#8221;, filo wrapped brie, local honey, sambal oelek, candied apple<\/li>\n<li>&#8220;Dungeness Crab Cakes&#8221;, served with lemony yogurt and arugula<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li><strong>You Choice of Thin Crust Pizza<\/strong>,\n<ul>\n<li>&#8220;8th Avenue&#8221;, hot calabrese, chorizo, banana peppers, and saut\u00e9ed mushrooms<\/li>\n<li>&#8220;Market Place&#8221;, roasted vegetables, goat cheese, torn basil, sundried tomato base<\/li>\n<li>&#8220;Wild Smoked Salmon&#8221;, BC smoked salmon, creamy dill, capers, red onion, craisins<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p><a title=\"IMG_2431\" href=\"http:\/\/www.flickr.com\/photos\/37519564@N03\/8564600742\/\" rel=\"\"><img data-recalc-dims=\"1\" loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" title=\"IMG_2431\" alt=\"IMG_2431\" src=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/farm9.staticflickr.com\/8235\/8564600742_f39a30bb53.jpg?resize=500%2C333\" width=\"500\" height=\"333\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Dungeness Crab Cakes are served with lemony yogurt and arugula and are full of meat without the filler that is often used. \u00a0The avocado and arugula salad offer some colour and additional flavour to the plate. \u00a0Well done.<\/p>\n<p><a title=\"IMG_2433\" href=\"http:\/\/www.flickr.com\/photos\/37519564@N03\/8564603438\/\" rel=\"\"><img data-recalc-dims=\"1\" loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" title=\"IMG_2433\" alt=\"IMG_2433\" src=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/farm9.staticflickr.com\/8238\/8564603438_e55b24e167.jpg?resize=500%2C333\" width=\"500\" height=\"333\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Market Place Pizza with roasted vegetables, goat cheese, torn basil, sundried tomato base. \u00a0The toppings were fresh and plentiful, but the the crust needs some work as it was rather tough and slightly overcooked.<\/p>\n<p>Here&#8217;s the VanEats.ca video promoting the entire package. \u00a0Great deal for $16.<\/p>\n<p>[vsw id=&#8221;o8MVewD7jXQ&#8221;
