Both worked together at his previous venture, the award-winning CRU Restaurant. Mark considers her to be one of the top up-and-coming talents on the highly competitive Vancouver culinary scene.<\/p>\n<p>Raised in Pender Harbour, Jessica recognized early that food was her calling. She graduated from VCC&#8217;s Culinary Arts program in 2006, earning both the Student of the Year and the Centennial Food Service Award along the way. After graduation she continued to stand out among her peers, earning two silvers and a bronze when she participated in three hot live culinary competitions at BC Food expos.<\/p>\n<p>Jessica worked as Sous Chef at CRU and is looking forward to meeting the challenges of being Executive Chef at Siena. She has a great team behind her and she loves the neighbourhood restaurant&#8217;s focus on what&#8217;s new and seasonal, as fresh and local ingredients transform simple Mediterranean dishes into unforgettable experiences.<\/p>\n<p>Chef Howeryhas just introduced a mouthwatering new menu at the restaurant.
