Enjoy the beauty of the UBC Farm and taste the organically-grown harvest at this long-table dinner hosted by the\u00a0Urban Zucchini<\/a>\u00a0team \u2013 Fabio, Christine and Shannon.<\/p>\n

The evening will start off with an informative tour of the UBC Farm while you enjoy a glass of wine and have the opportunity to interact and learn from UBC faculty and farm staff. After the tour, gather together in the orchard to enjoy a meal prepared\u00a0by Chef Trevor Bird of\u00a0Fable Restaurant<\/a>.<\/p>\n

The event is raising funds for\u00a0Backpack Buddies<\/a>, a unique local initiative\u00a0aimed at ensuring students in Vancouver\u2019s inner city schools are provided with backpacks full of healthy food to get them through the weekend.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
