Hospitality Foundation\u2019s<\/i><\/b><i> Wine Scholarship Fund.<\/i><i>\u00a0<\/i><\/p>\n<p>The purpose of the <b><i>Okanagan Wine Campus\u00a0<\/i><\/b>is to provide a unique opportunity for the individual awarded the distinction of Sommelier of the Year to create his or her own wine. The Sommelier chooses their grape varietal and is a full partner in the process of the wine making, blending, bottling and marketing of the wine including the creative design of the wine label and naming of the wine.<\/p>\n<p>A clever take on Threlfall\u2019s initials and the addition of an \u201cexplosive warning\u201d icon the label, always in distinctive black and white, graces a bottle of Chardonnay described as \u201cpale yellow with a tinge of green, with aromas of bright citrus fruits and apricot, with hints of green apple and a chalky minerality\u201d.
