\"best<\/a>BEST of the WEST<\/strong>, sponsored by\u00a0Grosvenor Americas<\/strong>, is an evening of food and wine pairings that\u00a0celebrates the best British Columbia has to offer and takes place\u00a0Wednesday, August 6 from 7-9 pm.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Hosted by\u00a0house wine, the fourth annual BEST of the WEST celebration lights up the Ambleside pier for a fantastic gastronomic\u00a0event that is not to be missed. For this event, 12\u00a0of the Lower Mainland\u2019s\u00a0best restaurants will be paired\u00a0with 12 BC wineries, and tasked with creating the perfect complementary dish to go along with the\u00a0exquisite wine selections.<\/p>\n

There will also be two additional tasting stations at this year\u2019s BEST of the\u00a0WEST \u2013 one will feature delights from the\u00a0Naramata Bench Wineries Association<\/strong><\/a>\u00a0and a second will\u00a0feature oyster sampling by\u00a0Rodney\u2019s Oyster House<\/strong><\/a>.<\/p>\n

The evening\u2019s guests will have the opportunity to\u00a0vote for their favourite food\/wine combination, with the winning restaurant and winery team crowned\u00a0BEST of the WEST for 2014. There will be a draw for those guests who voted in the contest, with the\u00a0winner receiving a $100 gift card to the winning restaurant.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n
