Made in Movember is about taking action locally and thinking globally, bringing communities together, and starting important conversations about men\u2019s health.\u201d <\/em><\/p>\n<p><strong>Results from our 2013 Global survey showed:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>99% of participants talked to someone about their health<\/li>\n<li>75% became more aware of the health issues they face<\/li>\n<li>62% went to see a medical professional to improve their health<\/li>\n<li>50% told someone they should take action to improve their health<\/li>\n<li>75% said they were more likely to tell someone they knew to seek professional help if they thought it needed<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><em>*Conducted by IMI International<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>\u201cI\u2019m a 5 year Mo Bro and proud to stand beside my fellow fire fighters as we get ready to grow for Movember this year,\u201d said <\/em><strong>Gordon Chabot, Member, Great Canadian Fire Challenge.<\/strong><em> \u201cMovember not only cultivates camaraderie, it reminds us how important it is as men to have the courage to have conversations with one another and to encourage each other to take action to improve our health.&#8221;<\/em><\/p>\n<p><strong>HOW TO GET INVOLVED<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Men and women can <a href=\"http:\/\/ca.movember.com\/get-involved\/\">sign up<\/a> at Movember.com to grow or support the Mo.\u00a0 Men start November 1<sup>st<\/sup> clean-shaven and grow their moustache for 30 days, getting friends, family and colleagues to join their team and donate to their Mo-growing efforts.
