A few tickets left for\u00a0Edible Canada Derke Dammann Dinner<\/h2>\n<p>Derek Dammann grew up on Vancouver Island, in the small town of Campbell River. After working his way through a series of Victoria restaurants, \u00a0Derek took a leap forward in his career when he made the decision to travel to England to look for work. After landing a job at Jamie Oliver\u2019s <a href=\"http:\/\/www.fifteen.net\/\">Fifteen<\/a> in London, he never looked back. Derek worked his way up, eventually returning to Canada with Jamie Oliver as a partner.<\/p>\n<p>He has\u00a0impressed\u00a0Montreal\u2019s dining scene with his epic bistro <a href=\"http:\/\/www.maisonpublique.com\/\" target=\"_blank\">Maison Publique<\/a>, which in its first year\u00a0was named one of Canada\u2019s top new Restaurants by Enroute Magazine. Maison Publique has also made <a href=\"http:\/\/canadas100best.com\/canadas-100-best-restaurants\/\">Canada\u2019s 100 Best Restaurant list<\/a> each year since they opened, and in 2015 they have found their way into the top 15!
