This week certainly felt like fall, and it rained like crazy off and on, but that didn&#8217;t stop our <a href=\"https:\/\/www.lesdames.ca\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Les Dames d&#8217;Escoffie<\/a>r from pulling off a stellar culinary garage sale, or for our media group heading out for a great trip to \u00a0Abbotsford for craft beer, tasty farm food, local wine and helicopter rides! I got a few new and inspiring cookbooks, including Ned Bell&#8217;s stunningly designed and photographed, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.amazon.ca\/Lure-Healthy-Sustainable-Seafood-Recipes\/dp\/192795892X\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">LURE<\/a>, so I know that&#8217;ll motivate us to do a bit more cooking at home, but there&#8217;s also so many reasons to head out. I&#8217;ll report on the cookbooks soon and adventures soon, but in the meantime I&#8217;m thinking it&#8217;s a good thing I got my roots coloured this week as there are oh so many reasons to get out and I&#8217;ll need to look my best.
