Complete with a buzzing bar and beautiful room, Merchant is a very busy place being right across from Bell MTS place, home of the Winnipeg Jets.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Where do you eat in your city?<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>I usually don\u2019t get out much. Having a busy job &amp; family life at home, we love to cook at home. My wife Kari and I enjoy cooking for our sons.<\/p>\n<p><strong>What would be your ideal food day?<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Smoked meat. Raw fish. Foie gras. Pizza. Beer<\/p>\n<p><strong>What ingredient do you always have on hand?<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Pickled Vegetables<\/p>\n<p><strong>What\u2019s your go-to recipe when you\u2019re eating at home?<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>My family favorite is cutlets. Super simply, but consistently executed<\/p>\n<p><strong>What cookbook are you most interested in lately?<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>I love to read about competitions. I have read numerous times \u201cChasing Bocuse\u201d by Philip Tessier.
