Good Things – Vancouver Events And What To Do in Vancouver<\/h2>\n

I’m in holiday mode already and have been getting the house ready to decorate and thinking about what cookies to bake this year. I probably won’t pull out the full decor until December, but I’ve got some plans, which is what counts, right? Half the fun’s all in the planning I think. During the holiday season t<\/span>here are so many things to do in Vancouver and within just a quick drive from the city, and I’ve already been out to The Christmas Store at Potter’s in Surrey! All you’ll need to do to get into the holiday spirit is The Christmas Store at Potter’s and that’s why it’s our number one pick on our list of a few things to do in Vancouver this week. There’s also way more fun holiday stuff for families listed on my pal Mary In Vancity’s site right HERE!\u00a0<\/a><\/span><\/p>\n

The Christmas Store at Potter’s<\/h3>\n

A beloved tradition since 2004, The Christmas Store at Potters<\/a> has returned for another wondrous holiday season! Each year, Potters Nursery transforms itself into Western Canada\u2019s largest Christmas store, boasting more than 28,000 square feet devoted to all things yuletide. Open now through December 24, The Christmas Store at Potters is the destination to find tens of thousands of holiday-related items! I’ll have a full story on this up soon.<\/p>\n

\"Neverland<\/a><\/p>\n

Holiday High Tea at Neverland Tea Company<\/h3>\n

What a treat, a special holiday tea for $55 a person at Neverland Tea.<\/a>The Holiday High Tea Towers look ridiculously delicious, and we’re heading out Tuesday just to make sure. There is also Vegan, Vegetarian and Gluten-free towers too, and a kiddie version!<\/p>\n

We actually sampled Vancouver’s Best Vegan High Tea at Neverland with our pal Rebecca from Cooking By Laptop! Read all about it on her site here.<\/a><\/p>\n

Oyama’s time-tested recipe includes roast lamb, salted pork, and white beans, and the shop will also carry duck confit, Toulouse sausage, and garlic butter to complement the dish.
