Gastown caff\u00e8 and ristorante\u00a0Di Beppe<\/a>\u00a0gives the polenta to the people once again when it presents its second-annual ‘Festa della Polenta<\/b>‘ dinner and adds special features that showcase the versatility of the Italian culinary staple to the menu this March. The polenta showcase begins\u00a0Sunday, March 1 at 6 p.m.<\/b>\u00a0as the ristorante hosts a multi-course, family style Festa della Polenta dinner with\u00a0the main event being piping-hot pots of polenta poured ‘sulla spianatoia<\/i>‘ (on a wooden board) atop communal tables and topped off with gourmet accompaniments such as\u00a0braised veal osso buco in pomodoro, whole sea bream in vermouth cream, rapini with chili oil\u00a0<\/b>and\u00a0wild mushrooms with roasted garlic, basil and red wine<\/b>.
