GLV<\/p>\n<p>The <a href=\"https:\/\/shelleymcarthur.us5.list-manage.com\/track\/click?u=ebb6876005851628defbd1cb8&amp;id=7466a0cb7f&amp;e=20042fdf72\">Kitchen Table Restaurants<\/a> team behind <a href=\"https:\/\/shelleymcarthur.us5.list-manage.com\/track\/click?u=ebb6876005851628defbd1cb8&amp;id=2bc3fd0a4f&amp;e=20042fdf72\">Pourhouse<\/a> has taken the famed Gastown institution in an exciting new direction with the launch\u00a0 of its new burger-forward menu.<\/p>\n<p>The new concept was envisioned and built upon the iconic Pourhouse Burger, with its 30-day, dry-aged steak patty cooked to a perfect medium and topped with cheddar, pork belly and caramelized onion. The new menu will offer an array of delicious new burger creations, classic steaks and starters, snacks and salads for daily lunch and dinner service.<\/p>\n<p>Driven by the culinary powerhouse team of Executive Chef\u00a0<strong>Alessandro Vianello<\/strong>, Culinary Director\u00a0<strong>Alex Tung<\/strong>, and Chef de Cuisine <strong>Jason Saruya<\/strong>,\u00a0the new <a href=\"https:\/\/shelleymcarthur.us5.list-manage.com\/track\/click?u=ebb6876005851628defbd1cb8&amp;id=a85491d2e9&amp;e=20042fdf72\">menu<\/a> offers two \u2018smash-style\u2019 creations and includes highlights like <strong>The Queen\u00a0<\/strong>(<em>brisket &amp; chuck steak patty, aged cheddar, mayo, shredduce, tomato jam, peppered bacon, onion ring, sesame seed bun<\/em>), and the <strong>Crispy Portabella<\/strong>\u00a0(<em>tomato jam, shredduce, pickled onion, Swiss cheese, truffle mayo, sesame seed bun<\/em>). All burgers and steaks are served \u00e0 la carte, with guests able to customize their selections via gourmet toppings and sides that go beyond classic <strong>Kennebec fries<\/strong> to include <strong>truffle tots<\/strong>, <strong>saut\u00e9ed mushrooms<\/strong>,<strong> chili-garlic broccolini<\/strong>, <strong>onion rings<\/strong>, <strong>twice-baked potato<\/strong> and more.<\/p>\n<p>Under the creative direction of Bar Manager <strong>Adam Domet<\/strong>, the beverage program offers a refreshed catalogue of classic and contemporary cocktails along with an expansive wine list including the addition of sparkling and red wines by the glass that further complement the burger menu. A daily Happy Hour <a href=\"https:\/\/shelleymcarthur.us5.list-manage.com\/track\/click?u=ebb6876005851628defbd1cb8&amp;id=f88a2b6b74&amp;e=20042fdf72\">menu<\/a> also serves up drink and food specials such as the <strong>Dirty Portabella<\/strong>\u00a0or <strong>Cheeseburger<\/strong>, <strong>Caramelized Onion Dip<\/strong>, and <strong>Buttermilk Fried Chicken<\/strong> from 3 to 6 p.m. and 10 p.m. to close.<\/p>\n<p>Beginning <strong>Saturday, January 23<\/strong>, Pourhouse will also introduce a weekend brunch <a href=\"https:\/\/shelleymcarthur.us5.list-manage.com\/track\/click?u=ebb6876005851628defbd1cb8&amp;id=5d7d90c168&amp;e=20042fdf72\">menu<\/a> featuring daytime dishes such as the <strong>Brunch Burger<\/strong>, the <strong>Burger Benny<\/strong>, the\u00a0<strong>Short Stack\u00a0<\/strong>with caramelized banana, maple syrup and vanilla whip and\u00a0<strong>Mimosa<\/strong> and <strong>Caesar <\/strong>features available from 11:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. in addition to the full lunch and dinner menu.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe Pourhouse Burger has become something of a legend and with the renewed focus on takeout-friendly fare over the past year, it was the perfect time to expand upon the elements that have made Pourhouse a Vancouver favourite,\u201d says Pourhouse General Manager <strong>Mark Briand<\/strong>. \u201cThis city loves its burger culture and we\u2019re excited to show old friends and new fans alike what we\u2019ve got in store for them.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Pourhouse is open for dine-in and takeout seven days a week with daily Happy Hour from 3 to 6 p.m. and 10 p.m. to close.
