And also, for those who believe in the strength, resilience, and creativity of refugee women,\u201d <strong>explains Trixie Ling, founder of Flavours of Hope.<\/strong> \u201cThrough this event, we will show the community how food can bring a sense of home and belonging to their lives.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Attendees will get to meet: <strong>Angelica Davalos Ramirez<\/strong>, a baker incorporating Mexican flavours in her cookies, cupcakes, and donuts; <strong>Huda Abd Elhamid<\/strong>, an Egyptian cook representing her culture through food and her mother\u2019s recipes; and <strong>Angeles Canedo<\/strong>, a Mexican cook using traditional clay pots (cazuelas) and natural ingredients to prepare authentic dishes.<\/p>\n<p>The three women comprise <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.us2.list-manage.com\/track\/click?u=3e1d9353bdeab1bc3e16c8d93&amp;id=170115eae0&amp;e=dcfa86eb0d\">Dream Cuisines: A Newcomer Women\u2019s Food Business Pilot Program<\/a>\u2019s first cohort, created by Flavours of Hope in March.
