Plenty & Grace Food Group Ltd.<\/a> (PGFG) has opened Preservatory Provisions & Toast Bar<\/a>, a brand-new specialty foods market and fast casual standup caf\u00e9 on Granville Island. Preservatory Provisions & Toast Bar offers elevated toasts featuring The Preservatory<\/a> preserves alongside products from local specialty makers, producers, and farmers. The caf\u00e9 is at the entrance to the Granville Island Public Market, at 1689 Johnston Street.<\/p>\n

\"Preservatory<\/a><\/p>\n

The new caf\u00e9 and market are a first for PGFG and a collaboration by two of B.C.\u2019s biggest culinary supporters; Lee Murphy, founder of The Preservatory<\/a>, Plenty & Grace Food Hub & Innovation Centre<\/a> and co-owner of Vista D\u2019oro Farms & Winery<\/a> alongside husband, Patrick Murphy, co-owner, and winemaker at Vista D\u2019oro Farms & Winery. This new endeavour strives to combine the offerings from each of Murphy\u2019s businesses while continuing to support local British Columbia growers and producers both on the shelf and on the menu.<\/p>\n

The menu includes a curated list of artisanal toasts highlighting The Preservatory preserves. Each features the freshest bread from the best local bakeries, including Nelson the Seagull<\/a> and Terra Breads<\/a>, paired with B.C.\u2019s bounty of seasonal vegetables, fruits, herbs, and local artisanal cheeses curated by Benton Cheese<\/a>. Visitors can expect to enjoy produce from local farms including Pinsch of Soil<\/a>, Vista D\u2019oro Farms<\/a> and Driediger Farms<\/a>, and\u00a0items from local specialty makers alongside The Preservatory, including Mellifera Bees<\/a>, Spread \u2018em Kitchen<\/a>, Farming Karma<\/a> and Edna\u2019s Non-alcoholic Cocktail Co<\/a>.<\/p>\n
