Chefs’ Table Society of BC Collaborates with 10 Restaurants Across the Province to Celebrate Wild BC Salmon!<\/strong><\/h2>\n

Chefs’ Table Society of British Columbia (<\/a>CTS) is excited to announce a collaborative event with the BC Salmon Marketing Council<\/a> and ten restaurants across BC in celebration of the rich heritage of wild BC salmon and to promote sustainable fisheries. From October 27th to 29th, 2023, 10 renowned restaurants across British Columbia will feature their delectable salmon dishes that showcase the region’s iconic seafood.<\/p>\n

\"Wild<\/p>\n

Organic Ocean Seafood<\/a> <\/strong>will be supplying the restaurants with their salmon for this flavourful weekend.<\/p>\n

BC’s wild salmon is a culinary treasure and a cornerstone of the province’s culinary culture. This provincial celebration aims to honour the legacy of wild salmon and local fishers while raising awareness about the importance of sustainable fishing practices to protect this valuable resource for future generations.<\/p>\n

The Barley Merchant’s BC Salmon Tacos served on locally made corn tortilla shells with lemon herb aioli, feta, house pickled red onions and sunflower shoots from @urbangreenmicros<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

Participating restaurants from various regions of British Columbia will craft exclusive salmon dishes that highlight the versatility and flavour of wild BC salmon. These special dishes will be available throughout the three-day event, offering diners a unique opportunity to savour a wide range of salmon dishes, from traditional to innovative.<\/p>\n

“We are thrilled to partner with the Chefs’ Table Society of BC to celebrate wild BC salmon across the province,” said Lisa Simonson, a representative from the BC Salmon Marketing Council. “This event highlights the intersection of culinary excellence and environmental stewardship, emphasizing the importance of serving sustainable BC products.\u201d<\/p>\n

From October 27th to 29th, 2023, visit one of the participating restaurants to indulge in a culinary journey celebrating the flavours of wild BC salmon while supporting sustainable fishing practices.<\/p>\n
