Beyond the International Spirits Challenge, Grant\u2019s has been recognized at several other global competitions this year, further cementing its reputation as a leader in the whisky world. Grant\u2019s Triple Wood 12 also received a Gold Medal at the 2024 World Whiskies Awards and won the Blended Scotch Whisky Trophy at the 2019 International Wine & Spirits Competition.<\/p>\n

At the core of Grant\u2019s success is its unique Triple Wood Process\u2014using three distinct types of barrels to shape the whisky\u2019s flavour: virgin oak for bold spice, American oak for smooth vanilla, and sherry casks for a touch of sweetness. This meticulous approach to blending results in a whisky that stands out in taste and character. It sets Grant\u2019s apart from other brands, offering consumers a whisky that\u2019s as rich in flavour as it is in heritage.<\/p>\n

GRANT\u2019S WHISKY TASTING NOTES:<\/strong><\/p>\n

Grant\u2019s Triple Wood:<\/u><\/strong>
\nVacuum distilled at a lower temperature to make it a lighter and more delicate spirit, it is then aged in oak to give it a more profound, sweeter, soft fruit flavour, creating the perfect foundation.
\n <\/strong>NOSE: <\/strong>Complex, clean with notes of ripe pear and summer fruits.
\nTASTE:<\/strong> Balances vanilla sweetness with malty and light floral fragrances.
\nFINISH:<\/strong> Long and sweet with a subtle hint of peat.<\/p>\n

Grant\u2019s Triple Wood 12:<\/u><\/strong>
\nUsing the Triple Wood process, Grant\u2019s Triple Wood 12 is also matured in three types of casks. Sherry cask is used in place of virgin oak, giving a sweet spice flavour. The sweet, spice & vanilla from the three casks \u2013 Sherry, American Oak & Refill Bourbon are blended after a minimum aging of 12 years, creating the perfect balance around the core fruity flavour.
\n <\/em>NOSE:<\/strong> Sweet and sherry-like, with dried fruits. Subtle woody notes and malty undertones.
\nTASTE:<\/strong> Vanilla, honey and spice. All mixed for a rich, sweet flavour. Aged grains and peated malt add depth, too.
\nFINISH: <\/strong>Long, soothing, and warm, a feeling you won\u2019t want to rush.<\/span><\/p>\n

\n15 ml lime juice
\n90 ml ginger beer

\nFill a glass with ice, add 60 ml Grant\u2019s Triple Wood, 15 ml lime juice, and 90 ml Ginger beer. Stir well.
