The Metro Vancouver Croissant Crawl is a very good reason to gather a friend, choose a neighbourhood or three, and spend a day exploring the city through flaky, butter-rich pastry. It is self-guided, delightfully low-stakes and full of limited-edition creations that go far beyond the classic croissant.<\/p>\n

This year\u2019s crawl brings together 35 participating bakeries and caf\u00e9s across Vancouver, Burnaby, the North Shore, the Tri-Cities, Richmond, Surrey and Langley. Each is offering a limited-edition creation, ranging from classic pastry-shop indulgence to proper savoury lunch territory. A handful have also created drinks to pair alongside.<\/p>\n
