
Good Life Vancouver is an independent lifestyle publication created by Vancouver writer, editor, broadcaster and marketing professional Cassandra Anderton.
As publisher and editor of GoodLifeVancouver.com, Cassandra covers food and drink, travel, cars and road trips, cookbooks, events and lifestyle stories from Vancouver, across British Columbia and destinations farther afield. Her work focuses on the people, places and products that make life more interesting, with a particular passion for local food, wine, cider, hospitality and tourism.
Cassandra is also a food and drink contributor for Vancouver Is Awesome and has written for publications including VITA Magazine, BC Living, The Vancouver Courier, BC Wine Trails Magazine, Western Living, Darpan Magazine and Eat North. She has appeared on Global Television and Citytv to discuss food, wine, travel and lifestyle topics.
Alongside her editorial work, Cassandra is a marketing and communications strategist who develops content, media outreach and social media campaigns for food, beverage, hospitality, health, tourism and lifestyle brands.
She works with Sea Cider Farm & Ciderhouse as a Cider Ambassador and Sales Specialist, representing the Vancouver Island cidery throughout the Lower Mainland, Fraser Valley, Interior and Northern British Columbia. She has also contributed to campaigns promoting British Columbia food and beverage producers including BC Wines, Portugal’s Vinho Verde wines, Canadian cheese, BC blueberries, Canadian pork and Avocados From Mexico.
Cassandra is a member of the British Columbia Chapter of Les Dames d’Escoffier, an international organization of women leaders in food, beverage and hospitality. The BC Chapter supports education, mentorship, scholarships and philanthropic initiatives throughout the province.
She is also a member of the Chefs’ Table Society of British Columbia, an organization dedicated to supporting and celebrating BC’s culinary community, local food producers and emerging culinary talent.
Born in New Zealand and raised in the Okanagan, Cassandra has called Vancouver home for more than 40 years. She is passionate about supporting local businesses, discovering regional food and drink, travelling with curiosity and sharing the stories of people who strengthen their communities.
