Gifts for Food and Drink Lovers – Global TV 2015

What do you get that person in your life who lives for the latest kitchen gadget, best bottle of wine or the ultimate cookbook? I spent some time in cook shops and snooped around many a kitchen to come up with the list for gifts for foodies this year. Here’s the details that I presented on Global TV for 2015. Give and you shall receive! There’s more suggestions on BC Living as I just couldn’t fit them all in.

Thanks to Elsa Corsi from Jeweliette Jewelry for the amaze bling that I wore and to Salon Haze and Revlon for my hair and Onyx and CND for the sparkly nails.

On Saturday, September 26, 33 Canadian cities will host a one-day marketplace bringing together Etsy sellers and communities in celebration of the country’s maker movement. For the second year in a row, UBC Robson Square (800 Robson Street) will play host to Vancouver’s Etsy Made in Canada event, featuring popular local Etsy sellers showcasing their handmade and vintage goods. Entry for this event is free.

When: Saturday, Sept 26th, 2015
Where: UBC Robson Square, 800 Robson Street
Time: 10:00am to 5:00pm
Price: Free Entry
Website: https://www.etsy.com/madeincanada

Vancouver’s Etsy Team is excited to be participating in Etsy: Made in Canada for the second year, with 78 passionate, local artists taking part.  From 10:00am to 5:00pm, visitors will be able to shop local favourites such as province-shaped cutting boards from Love my Local, artisanal coasters from JW Coasters, and bold infinity scarves from Veespoke.

Each market across Canada– from Salt Spring Island, to Hamilton to St. John’s– is powered by a dedicated Etsy Team and key partners like Moneris, Canada Post and Airbnb. Each Team’s Leader is committed to reflecting the individual culture of their community, while providing support and insight to members and newcomers looking to open an Etsy shop.

Etsy shoppers unable to make it to their local Made in Canada marketplace can shop participating vendors from across the country on Etsy.com/madeincanada and year round on Etsy.com.

For more information about Vancouver’s Etsy: Made in Canada visit the website or the event’s Facebook page.
