Egg salad sandwiches

Where did you first learn to cook? 

I taught myself in college so that I could eat beyond my means

What is your favourite ethnic cuisine? 

I’ve never met one I didn’t love 

What are the most essential tools for cooking? 

Passion and love

Do you have an unforgettable taste combination? 

Chocolate cake and cabernet

What vegetable do you love right now and how are you preparing it?

Fava beans. Fava been puree

What is your most prized possession? 

My 100 year old butcher block that my mother purchased from our local butcher in the 70’s after they went out of business

What’s your go-to comfort food?

Scrambled eggs 

What’s your favourite cocktail? 

Margarita made with kaffir limes (on the rocks, no salt)

Do you have a guilty pleasure?

See’s candies butterscotch lollypops

What’s your definition of a perfect meal?

One where I feel totally satiated, but not full

What do you always have on hand for last minute entertaining at home?

Pasta, parmiggiano, and all the pantry items to complete the job

Italy and Thailand
